So, for those that didn't go the highlights were as follows:
The scenery is absolutely stunning
The sun shone and the midges kicked ass
Gin & Tonics were only £1
Gez didn't hit me once, 3 races at least once per race we were in a good position to be twatted by him but nothin' happened, well done Gez...although I guess we are in for a dodgy one at the next event we both go to!
Tim Sadler and Salty won the day...
Overall it was a top event, the weather wasn't great for the yachting, wemanaged to get 2 decent races in on Saturday in great sunshine, Sunday the very troubled and hungover fleet greeted by Scotch mists, no breeze, a change in the SI's to allow the series to be completed with 2 races.. eventually a light and fickle race was sailed which was good for some and crap for others... more of that later...
