Its Nationals Month...

So, July is with us finally and its Nationals month finally, all the years hard work? Fitness campaign?? and treating your body like a fine tuned athletes or a temple?????? will be "finally" tested at the Enterprise Nationals in Porthpean, Cornwall at the end of the month. Not sure what the turn outs going to be - we got our "berth" last week and were number 36. Still not sure when the new boat is going to arrive, looks fairly likely that the Nationals will be its first showing... fingers crossed!

Whatever the final boat count is, its certainly gonna be a good event, and I think this year even closer than ever, noone is really out there winning all the events, so it should be really interesting to follow...

What will be very interesting is how the event is perceived socially, last year the rumours were that people weren't that happy with the shore-side, social arrangements for a multitude of reasons, I agree, socially it wasn't as good as other event I'd done, so this years event will have to improve on last years a great deal to keep the yachters attending, admittedly its hard to get an event to fit in with the hardcore 24*7 sailors, the families and the countless variations....let me know what you guys think makes a good nationals apres-yachtin', leave a comment below...
